The series presents puddles and branchings as portals. Both motifs open a system that extends beyond the frame.
Puddles connect three layers simultaneously: reflective surface, reflection of the world above, and translucent subsurface. They are ephemeral and yet evoke a childhood urge to jump in.
The branchings form rhizomatic networks reminiscent of neural structures. The photographs are transformed into vectors using an algorithm, turning a low-resolution image into a work with infinite resolution.
