The series consists of stones found in Valais and carved by hand, appearing to float wi-thin velvet-covered hemispheres.
An accompanying QR code leads to an animation in which the object dissolves from a physical into a virtual state.
Hard Rock operates between sculpture and digital work, exploring the transformation of matter through digitization.

These stones found in Valais (adularia collected at the Grimsel; Allalin gabbro at the Mattmark dam; and aragonite iron blossom from Isérables), hand-carved by the artist, appear to float within semi-spheres covered in deep black velvet, as if in a miniature cosmic space. Their enigmatic titles, made up of consonants, allude to Saturn's moon Titan (abbreviated TTN) and the planet Mars (MRS), while simultaneously enveloping them in a mysterious aura.
The accompanying QR code provides access to an animation in which, in a movement inverse to the formation of stars, the stone slowly disintegrates: from the real object to the virtual object, digitalization makes it possible to reverse time and transcend matter.
