This work presents core drillings through the artist’s digital image archive of approximately 35’000 photographs. The data is processed using custom-developed algorithms in TouchDesigner.
The Core Samples are high-resolution sections of this digital sediment, revealing layers of memory, chance, and information.
The three acrylic tubes contain different sections of the same source image, condensing the archive into a fossilized present made of data.
